The NH State Police Troop F and the NH State Police Collision, Analysis and Reconstruction Unit and the Coos County Attorney are currently on the scene of the motor vehicle collision. State Police have confirmed that a 2016 Dodge 2500 had been traveling west on Route 2. A group of motorcycles were traveling east on Route 2. The Dodge truck collided with several motorcycles. State Police have confirmed that 7 individuals have been killed as a result of the collision. 2 additional people were transported to the Androscoggin Valley Hospital and 1 was airlifted to Maine Medical.

Route 2 is still closed to all traffic just east of Valley Road and is expected to be closed for several more hours while the Collision, Analysis and Reconstruction Unit documents the scene.

The identities of the deceased are still being confirmed and that information will not be released until next of kin have been notified.
